Revealing "Before I Die" Art Project Goes Global

Back in 2011, we first wrote about Candy Chang's powerful interactive art project “Before I Die” where she painted a side of an abandoned house in her neighborhood of New Orleans with chalkboard paint and then stenciled in the words, “Before I die I want to ___.” Anyone who happened to pass by could share their deepest and most personal thoughts. Amazing Aluminum Wire Sculptures by Seung Mo Park

Brooklyn-based Korean sculptor Seung Mo Park creates incredibly detailed metallic sculptures by carefully manipulating aluminum wire. Each figure in his Human series of sculptures presents a remarkable attention to the delicate form of the human body (including wispy locks of hair) as well as the naturally flowing condition of draped garments. Park's sculptures capture the equally realistic wrinkles of scrunched up fabric and the curving details of one's body.

Whimsical Illustrations Merge with Everyday Objects

Instagram continues to pave the way for innovative artists like graphic designer Javier Prez, who regularly adds to his playful series entitled Instagram Experiments. Using a variety of everyday objects combined with simple line drawings, the Ecuador-based artist constructs whimsical scenes in all shapes and sizes. From a still life of lungs to adventures in spaghetti rain, Prez finds ways to bring life to all kinds of static objects.

Mother Creates Mini DeLorean to Travel Back to the Future

As children of the '80's continue to have children of their own, it's only appropriate that the toys reflect those rad times when high top sneakers, Nintendo, and big hair were totally in style. With a love for both cars and Back to the Future, clever mom corey4281 created this DeLorean Push Car for her 1-year-old son Cooper, who already had the matching red vest.
