Beautiful Upside Down Gardens Suspended From the Ceiling

Rebecca Louise Law is known for her breathtaking installations that consist of thousands of hanging flowers suspended overhead. Last February, she was commissioned by London's Garden Museum to create a temporary, site-specific work for their Floriculture: Flowers, Love and Money exhibition. 3,500 multicolored roses were hung on copper wire and suspended in the central part of the historic building. Visitors were invited to walk beneath the ethereal canopy.

Landscapes Exposed Directly onto Hand-Blown Glass

Artist Emma Howell has a unique approach to landscape photography. Rather than exposing her images digitally or onto film, she works with a wet plate collodion method to transfer landscapes directly onto handblown glass forms. When the San Francisco-based artist first learned how to blow glass, she knew instantly that she wanted to combine that with her passion for photography, so she developed this unique, labor-intensive process.

Unbelievable Ceramic Sculptures That Look Like Wood

Believe it or not, these sculptures by Christopher David White are not made of wood. There are knots, twisting veins and even a mossy mildew to disguise the work. However, White uses only clay to create deceptively detailed ceramic sculptures that look impeccably like real wood.
