Mind-Blowing LEGO Recreation of LOTR’s Helm’s Deep Battle

We've all seen some incredible LEGO builds before, but this one, by Rich-K & Big J, takes the cake as one of the most impressive pop culture recreations of all time! About 150,000 LEGO bricks and 1,700 mini-figures were used to recreate the Helm's Deep battle scene from Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings. It took the duo about four months to construct the 160 pound, ping-pong table size creation.

Awesome Split Personality Portraits Through Clever Styling (Not Photoshop)

For a recent assignment, Sydney-based photographer Toby Dixon created these two awesome split personality portraits not with fancy Photoshop but with the help of two talented friends. Monique Moynihan, who was in charge of styling and Budi, who handled make-up, transformed a man and a woman each into two distinct halves. Similar to a mullet, “business in the front, party in the back,” these side by side characters couldn't be more different.

Surreal Human Sculptures with Giant Boulder Heads

Teenager Teenager is a unique, hyper-realistic installation by collaborative Chinese artists Sun Yuan and Peng Yu. The installation features human bodies dressed in fancy suits and evening gowns while lounging on leather sofas and chairs, but with giant boulders for heads. The strange situation evokes a sense of bewilderment in viewers, who are faced with deciphering a message concealed within the unusual arrangement.

Artist Artyom Chebokha, aka Rhads, dreams up all kinds of surreal moments in his spectacular digital creations. In each painting, he creates a swirling blur of land and sky, ships and animals, and even gondolas floating along the clouds. In the enchanting scenes filled with flying fish venturing off into the distance and giant whales emerging from unexpected places, viewers are introduced to stunning visual adventures that don't quite make sense.
