Underlined Book Quotes Become Clever Illustrations

Bookworm or not, you can't help but enjoy these black and white illustrations of literary quotes by Evan Robertson. The New York-based graphic designer has taken some of the cleverest lines written by famous authors such as William Faulkner and Oscar Wilde and turned them into wonderful posters. These literature-inspired fine art illustrations are currently being sold on Etsy under the name Obvious State.

Sweet Street Art by Kenny Random

Since we last checked in with Padova, Italy-based street artist Kenny Random, he has been adding some exciting new twists to his work. While he still incorporates his trademark silhouette into some of his pieces, many of his newer ones involve children and cartoon characters we're all familiar with, like Maggie Simpson or Snoopy.

The United Nations of Ant Farms

Across the course of his career, Japanese artist Yukinori Yanagi has found ways to collaborate with the tiny little world of ants in his artwork. In The World Flag Ant Farm, Yanagi created a series of world flags by pouring colorful sand into a labyrinth of plexiglass boxes connected by tubes. He then introduced live ants into the art farm and let them go about their daily lives.
