Who would have guessed that such a gorgeous lamp could be made from hundreds of origami fortune tellers? The best part about this lantern however, is how the light radiates from it.

Most Expressive Pumpkin Faces Ever!

Just when we thought our pumpkin carvings were creative, we ran across these! We've seen Ray Villafane's expert hand at sand sculpting, but his original expertise lies in pumpkin carving. With Halloween creeping up on us, the New York native's pumpkin sculptures are in season. Each wrinkly, orange globe that Villafane digs into is brought to life with an animated expression. It's hard to believe that these figures were ever pumpkins!

The Spanish Guitarist by El Mac

El Mac has been on fire lately. Using intricate lines and patterns, the street artist put up this wonderful mural of a man passionately strumming his guitar. The piece was completed for the Avant-Garde Urbano festival in Tudela, Spain.

Beautiful Plastic Ribbon Art

While Gabriel Dawe uses thread to create his ethereal rainbow colored installations, Los Angeles-based artist Megan Geckler uses plastic ribbon or flagging tape. Often used by surveyors to mark spaces on construction sites, the material looks incredibly beautiful when weaved together – whether that be in front of stores, around hallways, or inside shipping containers. “When distanced from their intended applications, this material lends a manufactured quality to the pieces.
