Che Guevara Carved Out from the Rubble

As a street artist with one of the most eccentric techniques, Vhils aka Alexandre Farto is back with another stunner he just completed for Switzerland's Festival Images in Vevey. His latest subject is Cuba's revolutionary icon Che Guevara. If you're not familiar with Vhils' technique, he uses drills, chisels and hammers to chip away at walls, using the negative space to shape his portraits.

Photographer Lights Up Graffiti with LED Photons

Photo enthusiast Jayson Hay combines his love of graffiti and his passion for light painting in this awesome series he cleverly calls Photon Vandalism. Though he simply states it as “Killing the night with light,” the series is much more complicated than that. His set of 40 photos is the work of over three years of trial and error as he attempted to capture graffiti in a way that had never been done before.

Awesome Life of Light Graffiti Skeletons

We've seen light graffiti before, but none as lively as these skeletons by Los Angeles-based Darius Twin (aka Darren Pearson). Twin began light painting since 2008, after seeing an image from Gjon Mili that captured Pablo Picasso creating a light drawing called Picasso Draws A Centaur. Often times, people assume that Twin's images are photoshopped, but they are not.

Os Gemeos’ Mural Covers Entire Building in Boston

On their recent trip to Boston's Financial District, Brazilian twin brothers Os Gemeos put up this impressive 70×70 foot mural that covers the entire side of a building! The piece, which will be up for 18 months and can be seen at Dewey Square Park, is part of their first solo museum exhibition in the United States. The Institute of Contemporary Art show, featuring paintings, mixed media works, and installations, opens August 1.
