Innovative Fashion Collection Designed with 3D Printing Technology

We have seen 3D printing in a variety of forms including unique floral arrangements, miniature figurines, and creative sculptures. Recently, designer Noa Raviv took things to an entirely new level by using the innovative process to create a fashion collection. Raviv developed her series, Hard Copy, as part of her student work at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. The artist drew upon computerized patterns of grids and lines as the inspiration for the modern styles.

Incredible Photographic Survey of Military Kits From 1066 to 2014

UK-based photographer Thom Atkinson's series Soldiers' Inventories is an incredibly extensive photographic survey of the military kits carried by British soldiers from 1066 to 2014. With the goal of exploring what he describes as “the mythology surrounding Britain's relationship with war,” Atkinson enlisted the help of reenactment groups, collectors, historians, and serving soldiers in order to assemble the components of each inventory.

Creative Designer Crafts Resume on a Chocolate Bar Wrapper

At first glance, this might look like a regular Hershey's chocolate bar. But, upon closer inspection, we see that it's not your ordinary candy. It's actually a “Hirschy” bar and cleverly-designed resume by Matthew Hirsch. The front of the package is a play on both his and the food's name, while the back lists his qualifications in place of the nutrition facts and ingredients.

Small Retreat House in the Forest Designed to Rest on a Giant Boulder

This leaning house is an innovative concept created by Czech architecture agency Uhlik Architekti, which includes architects Petr Uhlik, Jan Sorm, and Premysl Jurak. The home, called Forest Retreat, is constructed in a diagonal formation with the upper section resting upon a giant boulder. The agency developed the idea for their client who requested a hideaway that could serve as a quiet escape from the urban chaos of his life in Prague.
