Clever Desktop Plant is Actually Pens

If you like having plants on your desk but don't have the greenest thumb, then check out this clever design by Korean-based Zeup. While it may appear to be a simple pot filled with grass, each blade is actually a pen created out of silicon. Called the Pooleaf, the pens come in three different natural colors and run $5 a piece.

Michelangelo’s David Re-Imagined with Numerous Tiny Faces

David / Self-portrait 11 is an intriguing redesign of Michelangelo's David that features dozens of sculptor Caspar Berger's own face. The bronze bust is an artistic re-imagining from Berger's ongoing Self-portraits series that offers a surreal take on a classic work of art. Despite seeming somewhat off from a distance, the sculptural portrait is in fact a presentation of both David and Berger himself.

Pop-Culture Phenomenon: Dumb Ways to Die

You've got to give it up to McCann Melbourne for creating this awesome and effective public service announcement for Metro Trains. On Saturday, “Dumbs Way to Die” became the most awarded campaign in the 60-year history of the Cannes International Advertising Festival with five Grand Prix Lions as well as 18 Gold Lions, three Silver Lions and two Bronze Lions.
