Crushed Car Parts by John Chamberlain

Come to the Guggenheim from now till May 13, 2012 to see a “Choices,” an amazing retrospective of the late sculptor John Chamberlain. Known for his colorful sculptures, Chamberlain was able to transform crushed car parts into extraordinarily fascinating works of art. The exhibition will feature 100 works that span 60 years and includes works made of foam, Plexiglas, paper and foil. The New York Times has a good article about the show.

Gorgeous Red Roses Gown

He collaborated with supermarket chain Asda in their 2012 Valentine's Day campaign, which reminded people to spread the love this year through flowers.

Watching Time Stand Still

Taking matters into his own hands, the Philippines-based creative began his artistic career in the surreal digital world. Though his works are not direct reflections of Dali's art, Austria is clearly inspired by clocks and surrealism.
