Creative Dad Builds Amazing Volkswagen Bus Bed for His Daughter

Creative dad, DIY expert, and Reddit user inexplorata built an amazing Volkswagen bus bed for his daughter's 3rd birthday to replace the crib she had been sleeping in until then. The idea came to him after he discovered a pile of old Super Beetle parts available for free on Craigslist. Rather than build a bed from scratch, he decided to fit removable, bus-shaped panels around the metal frame of a used bunk bed.

DIY Tabletop Shimmers with Intricate Design of 5,218 Pennies

Reddit user Callofthegame used 5,218 pennies to create a gorgeous tabletop with shimmering geometric designs. The project took about 40 hours from start to finish, most of which was “penny inspection time.” The creator meticulously sorted pennies according to levels of brightness varying from brilliantly shiny to dull chocolate brown. The base of the table is formed by a core birch door, which sells for about $65 at Home Depot.

During their regular weekly visits to Disney World, Florida mom Jennifer Rouch and daughter Lane are quite the noteworthy visitors. Before the pair venture to the park, Rouch uses recycled materials from local thrift stores to sew together elaborate character costumes for her daughter. The 3-year-old girl has played all sorts of roles including Cinderella, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Tinkerbell, Jane from Tarzan, and Jasmine from Aladdin.
