Macro Photos of Entire Cityscapes Captured Within a Single Drop of Rainwater

Photographer Dusan Stojancevic depicts metropolises contained within tiny droplets of rainwater. For the past 15 years, he has revealed minuscule cityscapes that hide in the beads of liquid. Towering buildings, expansive bridges, and glittering lights are reflected in the tiny dots sitting on metallic surfaces. Theyโ€™re visually divorced from the actual piece of architecture theyโ€™re echoing and instead offer a surreal look into seemingly alien worlds.

Cape Town-based photographer Johnny Miller shows the gap between the rich and the poor quite literally with his photo series Unequal Scenes. Captured using an Inspire 1 drone, Millerโ€™s images highlight the physical differences between the living situation of South African residents, where the picturesque homes and the tin shacks are separated by nothing more than a line down the middle.
