Stunning Photo Series Spotlights the Graceful Movements of Dancers

An elegant exploration of movement, the NYC Dance Project photographically presents the beauty and grace of dance. The stunning series began in 2014, when Ken Browar, an esteemed fashion photographer, and Deborah Ory, a lifelong dancer with a background in editorial photography, began shooting contemporary dancers for a personal project. Through word of mouth in the dance community and inspiring success on social media, their photography quickly proved popular, and the NYC Dance Project was born.

Adventurous Climbers Suspend Themselves in Hammocks Across an 262-Foot Canyon

Photographer Sebastian Wahlhütter captured these heart stopping images of an annual hammock gathering which took place at Tijesno Canyon in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As part of the Drill and Chill Climbing and Highlining Festival, 19 brave souls hung out in 17 hammocks provided by organizers Ticket to the Moon. The hammocks were strung along a 262-foot gap more than 600 feet above the canyon floor.

Surreal Dream-Like Photos of ‘Burning Man’ Capture the Carefree Essence of the Festival

Photographer Victor Habchy has attended the Burning Man festival since 2014, letting his camera capture a visual diary of the surreal atmosphere. His Burning Man photos document the creativity that unfolds in the Nevada desert like a surreal dream come to life. Habchy, who is color blind, demonstrates an ability to show us moments of humanity in an otherworldly setting. The subjects run, dance, play, and embrace in a seemingly post-apocalyptic environment.
