When a Massachusetts couple was asked to clear out a storage unit, they never could have guessed what they'd find inside. Kristen, a young mother of two who works part-time at a tanning salon, was asked a favor by her boss in December. U-2 Pilot Took a Selfie With the Chinese Spy Balloon as It Drifted Across America

The United States Department of Defense (DOD) has released a unique look at the Chinese spy balloon that traveled across the country earlier this month. While rumors of the photo had been circulating since early February, the DOD just released the image to the press yesterday. Taken by a U-2 spy plane pilot who was tracking the balloon, the cockpit selfie shows just how big it was.

Amateur Photographer’s Incredible Bald Eagles Photo Wins ‘National Geographic Picture of the Year’

With the news that his photo will be published in the May issue of National Geographic, software engineer Karthik Subramaniam is living every amateur photographer's dream. He earned this honor by winning the National Geographic Picture of the Year photo contest. His photo Dance of the Eagles was selected by a panel of seasoned Nat Geo photo editors from among nearly 5,000 entries.
