Female Space Pioneer Makes History By Sending Jeff Koons’ Art to the Moon [Interview]

In late February 2024, history was made when the first female-led space company, 4SPACE, took Jeff Koons‘ art to the Moon. The successful launch makes Koons the first artist to have authorized artwork on the lunar surface and everything came together thanks to the vision of 4SPACE founder Chantelle Baier. Baier founded 4SPACE as a vehicle to bridge non-traditional space companies with the space industry.

Newly Discovered Super-Earth Is Perfectly Placed To Have Water on Its Surface

NASA has revealed a newly discovered exoplanet located 137 light-years away, relatively close to Earth by space standards. Located in the habitable zone relative to its parent star, this super-Earth is one and a half times as wide as our own planet. The discovery is exciting because its location in relation to its star could make it possible for liquid water to form on its surface.

NASA and USPS Release Commemorative Stamps Featuring James Webb Space Telescope Photos

Since NASA's James Webb Space Telescope began its mission in 2022, we have seen stunning images of astronomic sights like the Pillars of Creation and the Ring Nebula. To commemorate this powerful telescope, NASA and the U.S. Postal Service have released two commemorative Priority Mail stamps featuring the JWST's most recognizable images. The first is a Priority Mail Express stamp that includes Webb's NIRCam (Near-Infrared Camera) image of the “Cosmic Cliffs” in the Carina Nebula.
