Goldfish Owner Invents A Cork "Wheelchair" To Help The Sick Fish Swim Properly

Redditor leability uploaded an unusual picture of a goldfish tied to a cork on May 28th, leaving many fascinated. It turns out that the pet fish was having trouble swimming upright. As a solution, the owner created a contraption to help it float properly. The little fish is seated in this makeshift body sling, which appears to be made of a t-shirt tag and a piece of cork.

Photographer Creates Detailed Miniature Worlds with LEGO Characters and Life-Size Objects

French artist Samsofy started out by photographing extreme sports in urban areas, but has recently focused his camera on smaller subjects. Using geek culture as inspiration, the imaginative photographer places LEGO characters next to real scenery and life-size objects, creating a world where these figures are living people who interact with their environment. In one image, chefs drop a delivery of giant macarons. In another, Superman can be found lifting up a massive sidewalk grate.

Ocean-Inspired Ceramic Sculptures Resemble Cresting Waves

Like artists Paul DeSomma and Marsha Blaker, Denise Romecki finds inspiration for her sculptures in cresting waves. The big difference is that, while DeSomma and Blaker work with glass, Romecki creates her original pieces using stoneware clay. Requiring at least two kiln firings, her ceramic sculptures resemble beautifully rising white-capped waves that have been stunningly frozen in time.
