With a growing internet community and a slew of social media outlets, anonymity is diluted and nearly impossible to achieve. It's difficult for anyone to remain a mystery, especially if they put themselves out there. Somehow, however, a modern day mystery exists in Edinburgh involving a series of unclaimed book sculptures with cryptic messages. Trippy Portal Photo by Matthew Spiegelman

Talk about an eye-catching photo! Portal {Matthew Spiegelman in his studio with mirror, two way mirror, c-stands, clamp with suction cup, two geared tripod heads, three strobes, 4×5 camera, 180mm lens} [Variation 6] 2010 by Matthew Spiegelman makes some very clever use of mirrors…..Just goes to show that magical photos like this don't come easy! Spiegelman is part of the New York Photo Festival in Brooklyn which started yesterday will go on until May 20.

Intricate Portrait Stencils Form Lettered Messages

I absolutely love these stenciled artworks by Orticanoodles, the pieces are fantastic! Orticanoodles is a pseudonym for two Italian artists, Wally and Alita. The very active and close artist pair started with handmade posters, moved into street art, and quickly became part of major urban guerrilla campaigns. The team's most recent work, these Stencil on Stencil pieces, are a collection of portraits of famous leaders, TV personalities, celebrities, and artists, combined with intricate stencil techniques.
