Insane Underwater Movie Sets (10 photos)

Have you ever wondered how movies shoot their underwater scenes? In one of the most elaborate sets in the world, British film production company Pinewood Studio captures breathtaking shots in a tank filled with 1.2 million liters (317,000 gallons) of water. The underwater stage, which opened in 2005, has been used for a huge number of TV commercials, music videos and films, including The Bourne Ultimatum, Atonement, Elizabeth and Casino Royale.

Stunning Whale-like Structure Can Float Away

Designed by Melbourne-based Peddle Thorpe Architects, Fluid is a whale-inspired pavilion that is sure to be a showstopper at the much-anticipated 2012 World Expo in Yeosu, South Korea. The floating exhibition space is designed around the concept of adaptability, making the structure useful for many different scenarios. The interior of the pavilion is open, capable of hosting various types of events during the Expo.
