Like Spain-based Alejandro Ferrer Ruiz, Bloas Meven is a macro photographer who finds a deep love and appreciation for the little red and black dotted insect, the ladybug. While Ruiz's photos focus on ladybugs with water glistening on their backs, Meven's feature the insects in more fanciful ways. Set against bokeh-filled backgrounds, his photos are similar in style to Navad Bagim's with flashes of light and colors that run the spectrum.
It may be hard to believe that Ruiz only started photography back in 2009, when he purchased his first DSLR camera. A year later, he became passionate about macro photography, concentrating on the tiny world that's all around us, the small places we don't often see or take time to really discover.
