Aki is the proud owner of 10-year-old Border Collie named Jazzy, a former search and rescue/therapy dog. The highly expressive pooch now helps rehabilitate other Border Collies who have behavioral issues. Aki calls Jazzy her “heartdog,” saying that they have “a strong bond nothing can break.”
“She's perfectly imperfect to me. I don't know if I will ever find a dog this special ever.”
Look through the Instagram bordernerd and you'll find photo after photo of Jazzy in some very hilarious and heartwarming poses. Whether she's wearing an adorable panda hat or mentoring a mini pup, the petite 33 lb of fur manages to make everyday life a little more fun.
“With thousands of pictures I have taken of her, I still haven't gotten ‘the shot' yet,” Aki tells us when we ask her which is her favorite photo. “There is this face she makes when I come home. Soft eyes and a big smile. I'm hoping to capture that someday.”
