We were first wowed by Otero's impressive skills in her Wildly Fruity Self-Portraits, and she continues to visually captivate us with this series, entitled Instinct. Combining her incredible talents as a make-up artist and image-maker, Otero composed these awesome portraits in which she features herself, camouflaged, just like some interesting creatures of nature.
From a cozy snuggle with Nern, the albino ferret, to getting frighteningly up close and personal with a large praying mantis, Otero takes us on visual adventures that we would never expect. The artist doesn't use any digital manipulations in her photographs, she's just that incredibly talented! Otero is definitely one to keep an eye on, we can't wait to see what she comes up with next!
