French photographer Eva Patikian translates her cinematic background into beautiful, dreamy moments captured on film. Each shot is like a frame taken directly out of a movie. There is a strong narrative in each image but it's difficult to know exactly how the story might end.
Often not showing faces, Patikian's photographs evoke emotion from her viewers. It's easy to drift off into daydreams, imagining what might be happening in each scene. There is a delicate nature and sadness that consumer her photographs, but also a sweet beauty and mystery that leave the viewer wanting to see more. Patikian says, “I love to create stories through pictures. I try to show my world and dreams with colors and poetry.”
