Amazing Non-Photoshopped Levitation Photos in Singapore

Photographers Jeff Cheong and Jayden Tan, aka Levitation SG, feature their enchanting ability to defy gravity throughout their beloved homeland of Singapore. The duo admit to being greatly inspired by Natsumi Hayashi‘s levitating self-portraits across Tokyo, which ultimately led to their decision to venture into this area of photography themselves to spotlight the spirit of their own hometown.

Between the pair of them, Cheong and Tan have released a number of intriguing shots. Whether the subject is a solitary man seated in mid-air to play the piano while seemingly concentrating completely on his craft or a couple being whisked away through an airport terminal, the images offer a curious look at performing otherwise mundane tasks. There's a magical and romanticized element in a lot of their work that allows the viewer to imagine their own narratives.
