NASA’s Voyager 1 Spacecraft Has Resumed Communications With Earth From 15 Billion Miles Away

Since 1977, Voyager 1 has been wandering the corners of our universe. Launched by NASA on a mission to learn more, the craft swung by Saturn in 1980, captured a “solar system family portrait” in 1990, and it crossed what is known as the “termination shock” in 2004. The epic journey of the spacecraft has set countless firsts, including it becoming the first human-made object in interstellar space in 2012, according to NASA.

Female Space Pioneer Makes History By Sending Jeff Koons’ Art to the Moon [Interview]

In late February 2024, history was made when the first female-led space company, 4SPACE, took Jeff Koons‘ art to the Moon. The successful launch makes Koons the first artist to have authorized artwork on the lunar surface and everything came together thanks to the vision of 4SPACE founder Chantelle Baier. Baier founded 4SPACE as a vehicle to bridge non-traditional space companies with the space industry.
