Everyone has their own way of remembering 2015, but an Instagram account by the name of @ADollWorldAfterAll has taken a fun and hilariously creative approach to jogging our memory. Each image uses Barbie dolls as a way to relive some of pop culture's most memorable moments. Ronny Larsson, a magazine editor in Stockholm and the mastermind behind this project, fashions the toys into celebrity look-alikes, and these tiny twins reenact the moments that people felt most compelled to tweet, share, and listen to in the past year.
Many of the events are centered around television, movies, and music. By changing the dolls' wardrobe and hairstyles, he transforms them into famous stars, including the likes of Drake, Kim Kardashian, and Adele. In addition, Larsson creates small sets for each iconic scene. Though the reenactments may not always be a pretty sight we so often associate with Barbie dolls, they're all a quirky and often hilarious tribute to pop culture events that captivated the world.
