As an illustrator and writer living in Seattle, she chronicles illustration, embroidery, and beyond through her blog Brown Paper Bag and Instagram @brwnpaperbag. She wrote a book about embroidery artist Sarah K. Benning titled "Embroidered Life" that was published by Chronicle Books in 2019. Sara is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art. IKEA Creates “Fill in the Blank” Recipe Posters to Make Cooking Easy

IKEA is known for its stylish-yet-inexpensive furniture that comes with (seemingly) simple directions that anyone can follow. While some would argue this point, the Swedish brand has translated this pictorial idea into food. With help from Toronto-based advertising firm Leo Burnett, they’ve created a series of illustrated recipes printed on parchment paper. They call it Cook This Page, and it features single page “fill in the blank” instructions for tasty dishes that you bake.
