Jessica Stewart is a Staff Editor and Digital Media Specialist for My Modern Met, as well as a curator and art historian. Since 2020, she is also one of the co-hosts of the My Modern Met Top Artist Podcast. She earned her MA in Renaissance Studies from University College London and now lives in Rome, Italy. She cultivated expertise in street art which led to the purchase of her photographic archive by the Treccani Italian Encyclopedia in 2014. When she’s not spending time with her three dogs, she also manages the studio of a successful street artist. In 2013, she authored the book "Street Art Stories Roma" and most recently contributed to "Crossroads: A Glimpse Into the Life of Alice Pasquini." Actor Gary Sinise Shares Incredible Photos From the Set of “Forrest Gump”

Ever since its release in 1994, Forrest Gump has been a beloved part of American cinema. The film follows the adventures of the lovable title character, played by Tom Hanks, as he tells the story of his life. Along the way, he unwittingly witnesses and influences important moments in 20th-century history. One of the more memorable supporting characters in the film is Lieutenant Dan—played by actor Gary Sinise—who Forrest serves under in Vietnam.

Oversized Sculpture of a Fragmented Woman Invites the Public To Unify Through Music

South African-born artist Daniel Popper is known for his oversized, fantastical installations. Typically working on themes around human connection, his large-scale sculptures are immediately recognizable. Popper's work often shows up at art and music festivals; and in 2019, he created an incredible entry into EDC Las Vegas. The work, titled Chasm, is a little over 24 feet tall and shows a woman's head and bust slowly coming apart.

Infrared Photos Capture Breathtaking Views of France in Cotton-Candy Pink Hues

Infrared photographer Paolo Pettigiani transformed his road trip across France into a three-week photographic adventure. From Provence to Normandy to the Palace of Versailles, Pettigiani allows us to experience France in a way that's new and fresh. The work is an expansion of his Infraland project, which has been ongoing since 2015. For Infraland, the Italian photographer uses a converted full-spectrum camera to capture the unseen electromagnetic radiation of infrared light.
