Mesmerizing Digital Collages of People Climbing Stairs

Korean artist Jiyen Lee has created a series of hypnotizing digital collages that present people going up and down stairs, as seen from a bird's eye view. Each puzzling assemblage features an unidentifiable traffic of pedestrians on an endless journey. It also remains unclear whether they are actually ascending or descending the steps in front of them, as Lee has taken the artistic liberty of reconfiguring images in unimaginable compositions. Three-Dimensional Clouds Appear in Layered Glass

Buenos Aires-based artist Leandro Erlich's Single Cloud Collection gives us a surreal taste of what capturing a cloud in glass would look like. Using the artistic method of layering, Erlich's sculptural pieces are given a three-dimensionality. Each “captured cloud” is the illusionary result of numerous panes of glass that are individually embellished with acrylics. As a self-proclaimed “architect of the uncertain,” Erlich plays with an audience's visual senses.

We may not have hover cars yet but thanks to Prague-basd design studio Kibardindesign, we will soon have a levitating wireless computer mouse known as Bat. The “handy” gadget boasts a sleek design that comes in a modern, simplistic color palette of black or white. The set includes both a mouse pad and a mouse with a magnetic ring, which allows it to float in midair.

If you've ever wondered what the layout of your favorite fictional character's apartment looked like, interior designer Iaki Aliste Lizarralde may have hand drawn exactly what you're looking for. The Spain-based artist, who also goes by nikneuk, has colorfully illustrated a number of aerial diagrams mapping out the layout of popular TV and film homes for his Floorplans series.
