As an illustrator and writer living in Seattle, she chronicles illustration, embroidery, and beyond through her blog Brown Paper Bag and Instagram @brwnpaperbag. She wrote a book about embroidery artist Sarah K. Benning titled "Embroidered Life" that was published by Chronicle Books in 2019. Sara is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art. Quarantined Couple Recreates Iconic Movie Moments With Things in Their Home

Things can get a little wacky in the midst of coronavirus lockdown. While the Getty Museum Challenge has people scouring their homes to recreate famous artworks, one couple (Fanni Kovács and Norbert Hosszú) has used extra time indoors to depict iconic movie moments doing the same thing—whatever is around their home is fair game for a film. The couple shared interpretations of blockbusters including Scarface, Pulp Fiction, Men in Black, Up, and many more.

Paper Quilling Artist Creates “Ultra Realistic” Animal Portraits

Paper quilling is largely considered a decorative art, but artist Amy Crain proves that realism is possible with the right materials and technique.
