Incredible Shots of the Exotic Peacock Spider

On a walk around the bush in Australia, entomologist Jurgen Otto came across a tiny insect he'd never come in contact with before–the Peacock Spider. The scientist says, “When I came to Sydney I was a bit bored because there wasn't enough to photograph but now I don't want to live anywhere else. I think it's probably the most beautiful spider in the world.

Breathtaking Shots of Millions of Flamingos

Where do you go to see the greatest bird spectacle on earth? The Kenya Lake System in the Great Rift Valley. Come at the right time and you'll see the shoreline of Kenya's lakes turn bright pink as they're filled with millions of flamingos. The lesser flamingos (the smallest species of them) gather at these lakes to feed on the abundant blue-green algae which thrive in the warm alkaline waters.

The World’s Largest Aquarium

Let's add it to the bucket list! The Georgia Aquarium, located in Atlanta, Georgia, USA is the world's largest aquarium with more than 8.5 million US gallons of marine and fresh water housing more than 120,000 animals of 500 different species. The stars? Four young whale sharks, four beluga whales, and four manta rays. (This aquarium is the only institution outside of Asia to house whale sharks.)
