Adorable “Leaf Sheep” Sea Slugs Look like Cartoon Lambs

If you thought last week's sea bunnies were cute, here's one more underwater treasure that will make you say “aww!” Costasiella kuroshimae (also referred to as “leaf sheep” and “Shaun the sheep”) is a species of sacoglossan sea slug whose beady eyes and flat face make it look like an adorable cartoon sheep. Add some droopy feelers and a phosphorescent, leaf-like body, and this little darling may just be the loveliest slug in the ocean!

Meet Surf Dog Ricochet, a 7-year-old pup with a heart of gold and the amazing ability to help heal and inspire people with disabilities through the power of surfing. Born in January 2008, the golden retriever was originally trained as a service dog, and quickly gained the reputation of a “puppy prodigy” as she learned how to navigate difficult tasks like opening doors, switching lights on and off, and unzipping clothing.

Inseparable Lion Cub Siblings Cuddle on Journey to Safety

Two lion cubs have been given a new lease on life after being rescued from a refugee camp in the war-torn Gaza Strip. After spending the first two weeks of their lives in the Rafah Zoo, which had been damaged by airstrikes and was struggling financially, the cubs were bought by Gaza resident Saad Aldeen Al-Jamal because he felt sorry for them and wanted to provide a better home.
