Architects Reveal New Images of โ€˜The Whaleโ€™ Museum in Arctic Circle

Development of Dorte Mandrupโ€™s The Whale is back on track following a historic discovery that left the future of the buildingโ€™s site undecided. The Danish architecture firm first won the design competition for a whale observation attraction in the Arctic Circle in late 2019โ€”besting entries from other impressive firms such as BIG and Snรธhetta.

Falcon-Inspired Museum by Foster + Partners

Foster + Partners recently unveiled this design for a museum on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi. Named after UAE founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Zayed National Museum will be dedicated to the history and culture of the country. Because of the Sheikh's love for falcons, the museum will feature five lightweight steel towers that resemble the wings of the bird.
