Interactive Installation Transports Viewers to Dazzling Universe of Infinite Lights

Japanese tech art studio teamLab invites viewers to step into a galaxy of twinkling lights in Crystal Universe, their latest fully immersive installation. The Tokyo-based collective positioned 60,000 suspended LEDs in three-dimensional space, using their original 4D Vision technology to create the dazzling appearance of an infinite number of light particles cascading endlessly in all directions. Like their previous works, Crystal Universe is interactive and responds to the movements of the visitor.

Marigolds Pour Out of a Giant Orange Paint Tube in Visually Playful Installation

Gardeners know how much of a difference a brightly-colored flowerbed can make on a freshly-cut lawn, but a little creativity can take it to a whole other level. Rather than simply lining up a series of colorful plants, this beautiful display arranged in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France playfully sprawls vibrant marigolds into a swerving line, simulating the notion of flowers whimsically leaking out of a giant orange paint tube.

Pools of Recycled Motor Oil Reflect Spectacularly in Switzerland's Bellelay Abbey

Inside Switzerland's Bellelay Abbey, two intriguing pools of recycled motor oil create serene, unbroken reflections of soaring architecture. The chapel's ornately decorated arches and vaulted ceilings are mirrored in vivid detail on the oil's rich, glassy surface. Unlike reflections in water, the oil pool minimizes glare and lets viewers gaze deeply into the images. The addition of the oil pools to the chapel is interesting because it contrasts light and dark in a striking juxtaposition.
