Giant Urban Flowers Bloom When Pedestrians Pass By Under Them

Architecture firm HQ Architects developed a public installation that offers an artistic aesthetic to the environment through playfully responsive design. The Warde project, located in Jerusalem's Vallero Square–an urban area that's in poor condition–is being given a set of towering flower sculptures, big enough to draw the gaze of the entire plaza. Rather than fighting against the marketplace's metropolitan nature, designers wanted to work in harmony with the municipality.

Mirror Installations in Nature Offer a Sense of Peace and Self-Reflection

London-based installation artist Lee Borthwick has an extraordinary gift: she is able to seamlessly combine manmade mirrors with wooden stumps found in nature to form beautifully surreal works of art. The expert designer, who has presented her work as stand-alone wall art indoors and as a hidden exhibition in the middle of an otherwise untouched forest, creates pieces that are consistently eye-catching, regardless of its location.

Spectacularly Detailed Dioramas Hidden Inside Vintage Ring Boxes

In Toronto-based artist Talwst's dioramas, antique ring boxes become tiny theaters where spectacularly detailed scenes unfold on a miniature scale. The artist began his unique hobby when a vendor at a Paris market handed him an old ring box and said, “I want to see you do something with this.” Talwst turned it into a seaside scene featuring a woman in a black, vintage swimsuit, and his spectacular series was born.
