Paper Haussmann Buildings Capture the Charming Details of Parisian Architecture

Paris-based “paper designer” Camille Ortoli creates intricate installations that capture the chic side of paper-crafting. In addition to haute couture commissions and other commercial work, Ortoli also focuses on personal projects, including her stunning series of paper Haussmann buildings. Projection Mapped Disco Balls Fill Room With Glittering Light Reflections

Designed by code artist Kyle McDonald and creative technologist Jonas Jongejan, the Light Leaks projection mapping installation features fifty mirror disco balls within a darkened room, lit by beams of carefully controlled light. Using multiple projectors, the artists created a series of ever-changing lighting sequences that reflect from the disco balls’ complex mirrored surfaces, flooding the entire room with mesmerizing patterns.

Artist Transforms Discarded Aluminum Cans Into Incredible Hand-Sculpted Art

Detroit-born artist Noah Deledda turns trash into treasure by transforming old aluminum cans into sculptures. Made entirely by hand, the artist uses his thumb to create dents and creases in the disposable object’s surface, resulting in incredible three-dimensional sculptures adorned in flawless, geometric patterns. Deledda reveals, “Through sculpture I try to create something unique out of an ordinary object.” His process begins by scratching away the can’s commercial design.
