Beautiful Bird Drawings by Brazilian Street Artist L7m

Brazilian street artist Luis Seven Martins, aka L7m, continues to produce amazing illustrations that blur the lines between abstraction and nature. Rather than taking to the streets, this time L7m turned his spray paint and acrylics to a number of canvases. His expressive collection features stunning bird forms that emerge from a beautifully chaotic background. It's as if the creatures are peacefully emerging from the energetic confusion of his blended brush strokes.

19-Year-Old Mixes Photos and Paints Into Beautiful Narratives

19-year-old artist Aliza Razell creates beautiful narratives in her mixed-media photographs by combining self-portraits with splashes of color to produce strange and mystifying images that cannot fully be explained. The beautifully thoughtful moments seem perfectly planned out so that the components can be naturally blend together into meaningful stories. Razell manipulates each image so that the various photo and paint elements interact in unexpected ways.

Adorable Animals Form Whimsical Alphabet Letters

London-based illustrator Marcus Reed developed this clever typography series in which animals look like the 26 letters of the alphabet. Drawing upon the creatures' natural shapes, colors, and movements, he beautifully blended different features together to form each character. A is for Alligator, J is for Jellyfish, P is for Penguin, and so on, the series is an inventive interpretation of classic typography.

Beautiful Mandalas Made from Nature by Kathy Klein

Arizona-based artist Kathy Klein uses a variety of organic materials to produce a series of eye-catching mandalas referred to as Danmalas–a portmanteau of the Vedic Sanskrit words “dan” and “mala” which respectively mean “the giver” and “garland of flowers.” Each piece in her ongoing collection boasts a brilliant sense of geometric symmetry and energetic life.
