Countless Pens Used to Draw Detailed Animals Portraits

New Jersey-based illustrator Tim Jeffs has spent the past year trying to draw intricately detailed animal portraits with nothing more than pens and ink. Originally completing the spectacular sketchbook drawings as a pastime, Jeffs' son Harrison decided to share his dad's meticulous craft on reddit. After receiving a great response, Jeffs decided to set up an Etsy shop and continue to expand his portfolio.

Gorgeously Sculpted Formations Represent the Life of a Cell

From 2003 to 2010, landscape artist Charles Jencks developed this amazing project entitled Cells of Life. It was completed as part of Jupiter Artland, a privately-owned sculpture park in Edinburgh. The project includes eight landforms and a connecting causeway developed within the incredible outdoor space. The foundation for Jencks' creation was based on the concept of the life of a cell, as well as the cell division process called mitosis.

Eye-Catching Mural of Audrey Hepburn in NYC’s Little Italy

Brooklyn-based Tristan Eaton recently created this eye-catching mural, entitled Audrey Hepburn, along the streets of Little Italy in New York City. The American artist and toymaker was just one of the many talented people to participate in the L.I.S.A. (Little Italy Street Art) Project, an initiative that brings together a diverse group of street artists to create Manhattan's only mural district near historic Mulberry Street.

Playful Minimalist Posters Depict Classic Movie Characters

Art director, illustrator, and graphic designer Olaf Cuadras created a series of playful movie posters that transform each story into minimalist designs. In the series, simply called Minimal Movie Posters, the Barcelona-based artist developed concepts for some classics including The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, Die Hard, and Terminator 2.
