Amazing 3D Pencil Drawings Pop Out of the Page

While studying architectural design, Syrian artist Muhammad Ejleh uses his personal time to produce mind-boggling illustrations that creatively break the boundaries of a two-dimensional plane. His incredibly deceiving 3D drawings are so effectively produced that it's hard to believe there isn't some photo manipulation involved. Using a few basic materials (like a sketchpad and pencils), Ejleh is able to blow the viewer's mind with his skillfully crafted sketches.

Mesmerizing Patterns Constructed Within Surreal Landscapes

Polish photographer Dariusz Klimczak applies his photo manipulation skills to carefully construct surreal landscapes filled with patterns. The recurring sequence of shapes and forms in Klimczak's aptly titled series Patterns include both complex, irregular visual schemes and clean, symmetrical patterns that are indescribably pleasing to browse through. Each monochromatic image presents a vast landscape stretching out to a distance, often at the center of the frame.

1500 Giant Raindrops Hang Magically in Mid-Air

A fascinating new show just opened at Los Angeles' Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) that brings the outside weather indoors. Internationally acclaimed Swiss-born artist Urs Fischer makes his first comprehensive museum retrospective in the United States with magical works like “Horses Dream of Horses.” Reminiscent of a frozen spring shower, 1,500 plaster and resin raindrops strung on nylon filament hang magically in mid-air.
