Converse Launches Ethereal Line of Embroidered Sneakers Covered in Flowers

Although the iconic sneaker brand Converse has been around since 1908, its designers are constantly working to add contemporary, creative twists to their classic kicks. Their latest styles are clearly no exception—the company recently unveiled a new collection of embroidered sneakers, titled Floral Parkway. The collection sees Converse’s iconic Chuck 70 line reworked into a series of luxury sneakers with a retro feel.

The Victorian collector, artist, and scholar published Color Problems: A Practical Manual for the Lay Student of Color in 1901 as a breakthrough manual for examining color. Her innovative methods were ahead of their time and seem more reminiscent of 21st-century Minimalism than turn-of-the-century Victorianism.

“Whale in the Sky” Beluga-Shaped Airbus Completes Its First Flight

Airbus, a European corporation that manufactures civil and defense planes, assists airlines in transporting aircraft sections when necessary for assembly and repair. The Airbus Beluga, which looks like a cute whale, is a modified wide-body airliner that does the job. And now, the Airbus Beluga XL has taken flight.
