Animated Light Projections of Tiny People Seem to Play the Piano with Every Step

In classical music, the word “adante”—which means “walking” in Italian—describes a moderately slow tempo, like an average walking pace. MIT's Tangible Media Group has created a clever visual interpretation of the term, presented in a short film by the same name. In Adante, tiny digitized figures are projected just above an automated piano's keyboard, seeming to scale the keys—literally. Each animated step, skip, and stride sounds a new note.

Man Hilariously Photoshops Himself as Kendall Jenner’s “Fraternal Twin”

You remember Kirby Jenner, right? This “Amatuer Model / Lover of all things” is the Instagram alias of an anonymous artist-cum-comedian who cleverly parades as Kendall Jenner's fictitious “fraternal twin,” thanks to the magic of Photoshop. While the real-life star pouts and poses, he stands by her side as a silly stooge, countering her glitzy glamour with a gauche sense of humor (and a gaudy mustache that almost steals the show).

Iconic Glass "Ferris Bueller’s Day Off" House Sells for $1.06M

One of the most famous works of modern architecture is finally off the market: the iconic Ferris Bueller's Day Off House, also known locally as the Ben Rose House. The Highland Park, Illinois property, which recently sold for $1.06 million, has earned its place in pop culture as the character Cameron Frye's home in the 1986 John Hughes classic.
