These Photos Capture the Incredible Flight Paths Taken by Flocks of Birds

When most people step outside and admire birds, they're taking in the beauty of a single specimen,—but not Xavi Bou. The Catalan photographer looks at the bigger picture for his series Ornitographies, which takes in the stunning formations that migratory flocks of birds create. From fluttering ribbons to fluffy clouds, the shapes formed from the movement of the birds makes for unforgettable photographs. For Bou, the start of the project was a natural progression.

Men Bare All for Funny ‘Dad Bods and Rescue Dogs’ 2020 Charity Calendar

Dogs with Brachycephalic syndrome (or short snouts)—such as pugs and French Bulldogs—are continuously bred, despite the fact that their condition can lead to severe respiratory distress. That’s why nonprofit organization Lucky Bulldogs Rescue in Iowa is committed to rescuing these “smushie face” pups from the commercial breeding system. The volunteers aim to find the dogs loving forever homes, where they can get the medical care they often need.
