Exclusive Interview: Men Doing Yoga Display Incredible Feats of Grace and Strength

Peace, elegance and grace meet strength, power and control in these portraits of male yoga practitioners. Last year, when Los Angeles-based photographer Amy Goalen started practicing power yoga, she also started photographing her male yoga teacher. It soon became a larger project, and as more male yogis volunteered to hold their poses for the camera, Goalen realized how rarely yoga photography features men.

Two Friends Turn Their Van into Australia’s First Mobile Laundromat for the Homeless

Two 20-year-old friends have come up with an ingenious way to help the homeless population in Brisbane, Australia by turning a van into a mobile laundromat, where the homeless can safely wash and dry their clothes. Lucas Patchett and Nicholas Marchesi, the founders of the project, started out with an old white van, which they outfitted with a portable generator.

Winners of Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2014

Winners of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards were recently announced and the photos are better than ever! The competition, which is put on by the Natural History Museum and BBC Worldwide, is one of the exciting photo competitions around because of all of the great entries. This year, they received more than 42,000 from 96 countries.
