Rooftoppers Secretly Climb 650-Meter-High Crane in Shanghai

Russian photographers and adrenaline junkies Vitaly Raskalov and Vadim Makhorov, who are no strangers to traveling to the world's towering skyscrapers and climbing them with absolutely no safety gear, have recently conquered the second tallest building in the world. The daredevil duo managed to gain access to China's Shanghai Tower earlier this month, ascend the 650-meter-high structure, and take some incredible photos from their unique viewpoints.

Long Exposure Photos of Japanese Cherry Blossoms at Night

We have featured photographs of the cherry blossoms trees in Taiwan and every year there is a flood of photos as thousands of Americans flock to Washington DC to see the cherry blossoms bloom on the National Mall, but these new images by a Japanese photographer known only as Arixxx are particularly delightful. With a long exposure, Arixxx captures the trails of light left by the headlights and taillights of passing traffic in Hitachi, Japan.

Photographer Explores Beauty Through Facial Symmetry

Both Sides Of is a series by photographer Alex John Beck that explores the definition of physical beauty. Each image in the British-born, New York-based photographer's collection is a composite offering two sets of symmetrical faces. One image takes the left half of the subject's face and mirrors it into the beauty shot of a seemingly whole face, while the adjacent portrait offers a similarly symmetrical rendition of the right side of the face.
