Split Family Portrait: Grandmother and Granddaughter

Ulric Collette, the Quebec-based photographer behind Genetic Portraits, a series where he splits family members' faces apart and then photoshops them together, recently created a new portrait that's close to his heart. Saying, “I'm really proud of this one,” it shows his mother who's 61-years-old on one side, and his daughter, who is 12-years-old on the other. Though a lot of his other portraits look a little on the creepy side (see here and here)

The Fennec Fox is the Most Adorable Animal in the World

Pack up your bags and sound the alarms because, by golly, I think we've done it. We've found the most adorable animal in the world! Of course, we can't take all the credit. Photographer In Cherl Kim has been shooting these sweet creatures for years at Everland Resort, South Korea's largest theme park. In fact, he has a whole folder dedicated to the photogenic fox on Flickr.

Using a variety of everyday objects combined with simple line drawings, the Ecuador-based artist constructs whimsical scenes in all shapes and sizes. From a still life of lungs to adventures in spaghetti rain, Prez finds ways to bring life to all kinds of static objects.

Powerful Ocean Waves Consume a Single Lighthouse

Landscape and wildlife photographer Marina Cano has a strong affinity for the sea. Based in the north of Spain, the determined photographer isn't afraid to venture out into stormy weather in order to capture the great energy and passion of her surrounding world. In the series, entitled Sea, Cano creates a juxtaposition between nature and man-made objects, narrowing in on a lighthouse as it becomes consumed by the overwhelming strength of the ocean.
