New Striking Self Portraits by Kyle Thompson

Chicago-based photographer Kyle Thompson wowed us with his surreal self-portraits nine months ago and he hasn't quit churning out striking photos yet. The 21-year-old has been on a roll, introducing one compelling shot after another for his own ambitious 365 photo project. Having just recently completed his year-long visual journey, we felt we needed to share more of the young photographer's newest works since we last saw him.

When a photographer uses a macro lens, the final results can be stunning and unpredictable. Based in the Czech Republic, photographer Adriana Kaprlov Hauznerov, aka Adriana K.H., is one of these artists who can find surprising details in the smallest of everyday objects. In her series entitled Oil Spills, she produces gorgeous abstract images featuring nothing but oil drops set against varying vibrant backgrounds.

Sweet Friendship Between a Boy and His French Bulldog

As far as photos posted on Instagram go, they don't get much cuter than this. Tokyo, Japan-based mother Aya Sakai has been charting the adventures of her young son and his best friend, which just happens to be a French Bulldog, using the popular photo sharing app. Whether they're cuddling on the couch or watching tv on a cushion, the two just can't seem to get enough of each other.

22-Year-Old’s Incredibly Artistic Self-Portraits

Prejudice Though Budapest, Hungary-based photographer Noell S. Oszvald currently has only 22 total photos on her Flickr page, they're all so incredibly powerful, you could spend hours looking at each one. The 22-year-old started taking photos a little over a year ago, though you wouldn't know that she was so new to photography by looking at her stunning portfolio. Oszvald only shoots in black and white because she finds colors to be distracting.
