Here Are the Incredible Winners of the 2022 World Nature Photography Awards

After receiving thousands of entries from photographers around the globe, the World Nature Photography Awards have announced their winners. The top prize goes to Jens Cullmann for his incredible image of a crocodile swimming through the mud at the Mana Pools National Park in Zimbabwe. The German photographer learned of his win while on location in Botswana and was thrilled about his victory.

Tyre Nichols’ Photos Are on Billboards in Palm Springs as Moving Tribute to His Creativity

California's Coachella Valley has been transformed into a site-specific art exhibition. Called Desert X, the event features 12 international artists using the desert as their playground. This year includes a touching tribute as Tyre Nichols has been included in the lineup. The young Black father was passionate about photography before being brutally beaten by Memphis police officers in early January 2023. Three days later, he died from his injuries.

Popular Instagram Photographer Confesses That His Work is AI-Generated

As more and more AI-generated images flood the internet, you might start thinking that it is easy to tell what is real and what isn't. For instance, too many fingers or the appearance of random limbs is one obvious giveaway. But  the work of popular Instagram photographer Joe Avery drives home the point that the line between AI imagery and work created by actual photographers is becoming more and more blurred.
