In a Far and Distant Land…

London-based Noemie Goudal has that amazing ability to visually narrate stories through her photographs. With an undertone of fantasy and adventure, her photos are intriguing because her sets are often times just a blown up photo within a photo.

Noemie began taking pictures as a young teenager in her grandmother's garden, where she would ask her sisters to dress up in costumes and play roles for the camera. She went on to study graphic design in college, but when she reviewed her final portfolio, she realized that it was full of photography. Taking this as a clear sign, she stopped pursing a career as a designer and applied to St Martin's College in London to study photography.
