Grandmother Millie Taylor-Morrison is showing the world that age is just a number and that everyone has the potential to find love again. The beautiful 86-years-young woman married Harold Morrison on October 16 at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey. Years after Millie's husband of 41 years passed away in 1992, she reunited with Harold, a man she knew from her youth in the 1950's. “She's found love again almost 25 years later and our family couldn't be happier for her,” writes one of Millie's granddaughters, Khadija Elkharbibi, who also posted the above picture on Facebook to show off her radiant grandmother wearing a fabulous purple wedding dress that Millie designed herself. As the stylish woman walked down the aisle, the look on husband-to-be's face said it all.
Millie has always been a fashion icon, Elkharbibi told Buzzfeed. “She used to model back in the 1940s-'50s for Belle Mead Modeling under the direction of Emily Miles. She modeled up until her fourth child!” Millie is a one-of-a-kind inspiration and now, she's making a comeback on a very special day, marked by love and friends and family. Under the purple lights that complemented the bride's dress, Harold and Millie danced together like it was 1950. Elkharbibi speaks for her grandma: “She cannot put into words how she feels, but it is awesome and she feels blessed. She said this may be her last hoorah, and I am so happy that this has become such a special one for her.”
