Modern Architecture – Ferrari World Abu Dhabi

At 200,000 square meters (over two million square feet), Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will be the world's largest indoor theme park. Global architecture firm Benoy cite the classic double curve of the Ferrari GT as their primary inspiration for the design.

Among the 20+ rides that will be housed in the largest indoor park on earth will be a g-force drop tower breaching the 150-foot-high red steel roof to extend over 200 feet into the sky, racing simulators, karting, and a flume ride through a giant Ferrari engine. The centerpiece of the park will be the world's fastest rollercoaster (simulating an F1 car and reaching speeds of over 124mph (200kph).

“Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will captivate the whole family with its array of engaging activities. Couple this with its extremely innovative architecture, a dash of Italian spirit, and you will surely live an experience like nothing else you have before.”

The grand opening of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is slated for mid-2010. Check out the video below to get a better feel of the park.
