Santa and Children Swap Faces in Hilarious Photo Series

As Christmas draws nearer, our hearts are filled with joy at the thought of caroling, gingerbread cookies, gently falling snow, and the age-old tradition of children posing with Santa Claus for an endearing photo. Imgur user grumpypunkcat, however, puts a hilarious twist on that holiday ritual with Santa Face Swap, a collection of photos in which old Saint Nick's jolly face is swapped with that of the young child sitting on his lap.

Cityscape Daydreams Come to Life Through Captivating Composite Photos

Andrea Costantini's photo manipulations depict daydream thought bubbles by blending head shots with images of architecture and cityscapes. The Washington D.C.-based illustrator captures human subjects displaying thoughtful expressions as photos of picturesque streets and buildings hover over or extend out of their heads. The series, titled Where Is My Mind, seems to capture the essence of daydreaming about faraway places with promising potential, or dwelling on the deluge of daily responsibilities in a bustling metropolis.

Expansive Greenhouse with Waterfall Planned for Singapore Airport

Construction has just begun on architect Moshe Safdie's lush, expansive greenhouse space at Singapore's principal airport. Measuring over 1.4 million square feet, the garden space, known as Jewel Changi Airport, will feature winding nature trails as well as recreation and dining areas. At the center of the expansive glass dome that encloses the garden is a spout pouring a roaring 131-foot-tall waterfall called the “Rain Vortex.
