Glowing Interactive Circular Swings Change Colors with Motion

For the next few months, this interactive Swing Time installation on The Lawn on D in Boston invites residents and visitors to sit back and relax while swinging in one of 20 glowing hammocks. The temporary project was created by Hweler + Yoon Architecture and was developed as a way to “create a new type of city park” where everyone is invited to gather and play or exercise.

Stunning Wood Facade Appears as Rippling Waves on an Office Building

Damiani-Holz & KO is company that works in the timber construction field, so it seems only fitting that their headquarters would reflect it. Italian studio MoDus Architects did just that by wrapping the Bressanone-located building in a stunning wood surface treatment. It features a system of vertical plywood fins that cover the structure and create a unique-looking facade.

Toast Stamp Transforms Bread Into Adorable Teddy Bears

Japan-based company Tokyu Hands has developed a playful way to enjoy your morning toast. This very easy little device quickly transforms a boring old square of bread into an adorable little teddy bear. Simply press the mold into the uncooked bread to obtain the shape. Remove the cut edges, select one of the three cute expressions to press into the front, and decorate with a heart, a crown, or a bowtie cutout.
